About Me
I'm an electronics engineer with over 16 years of industry experience.
I love tinkering with electronics and doing tear-downs. I love old stereo amplifiers like the Marantz series from the 60's till the 80's and I have reconditioned several of them for myself and friends. As many engineers, I like to fix and make my own... well, everything. So far, I've built a decent expertise in cars, electrical circuits, plumbing, remodeling, yard work, gardening and cooking.
I love teaching electronics concepts to anyone interested. I've created and taught classes on electronics for corporations and did some part time tutoring for a while too. I currently teach classes on artificial intelligence and machine learning for embedded devices.
In my free time, I like to read books and ride my bike or play sports and games with by kids.
I chose to write about stun guns because it feels like they don't get enough attention from the engineering community. There are a lot of misconceptions about them, mostly because people with good intentions but without an engineering background tried to write about them, so I aim to do my best to de-mystify them and answer all your questions you might have related to stun guns.
I currently live in Austin, TX with my wife and two boys.
